What family and friends really means to me is, one word trust. Because I know I can trust them if I couldn't they wouldnt be family and I wouldnt be there friend.
My family originated in China but when jobs opened up to build railroad tracks in America my great great grandfather came to help. The rest of my family stayed in Hong Kong China. But in the 50's and 60's when they communists were taking over china my father and his family had to leave when my dad was two years old, and they opened a laundromat in Chicago and worked like that until my grandmothers kids grew up and she retired.
My mom is from South Korea she came here when she was seven years old.Her parents and her two other sisters came here for a new life and at first they opened a factory and then got enough money to open a store in Chicago.

Friends and friendship start out as you looking for a friend when you are a kid. For instance I met my first friend Jack he lived next door to me we have been friends for almost ten years. It started when I saw him and said you want to be friends and we were friends ever since.
